FIXED

everything should be good. codes have all been reset. thanks again for your patience. happy downloading!

narrowing in

we think we have the problem isolated. don't quote us, but we think all should be fixed within an hour.

download pages down, but site up

site is now loading but the download pages are temporarily blocked while some additional things get sorted out. progress is being made!

rise and shine

i think the hosting company finally awoke from their slumber because they are now responding to our emails semi-promptly. they are "pinpointing the problem".

a response...

well, we finally got a response from dreamhost. not much info, but at least they are "on the case"

This is *****, one of the support managers. Let me apologize for the
delay in getting back to you on this. You know your case is being looked
into. I'll get back to you (call) as soon as we figure out why your
server crashed in the first place, and why it just went down again. I'm
also investigating the lack of response from our end, which is as you put
it unacceptable.

Thanks,
*****

trying to keep a sense of humor...

Saddle Creek Site Status

hi. we set up this blog to keep you updated on our website status.

today is the date for all you early pre-orderers to download the new Bright Eyes record but in an unbelievable "coincidence", our hosting company had a large scale DDoS attack and many of their sites are down, including ours.

here is the official status update from them:
http://www.dreamhoststatus.com/2011/01/31/large-scale-networking-issues-affecting-a-number-of-customers/

although they say the issue is resolved, it is not. we are going to be updating this page constantly (every 20 minutes or so) throughout the day until the site is back up. we might not have much info with our updates, but we'll let you know all we know.

sorry for the inconvenience and thanks for your patience.
